Manufacturers and Importers: Importers and manufacturers must obtain WPC certification and a Certificate of Import Authorisation before selling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities in India.

Appointment of a Representative: If the applicant is a foreign corporation, an authorized agent in India must be chosen to receive WPC clearance. The approved representative will be a company that will stand in for the foreign business in India during the process of applying for WPC permission. 

The Effects of Frequency: The frequency result of the specified wireless accessory must always be contained in the results. Individual results must include the resolution bandwidth, video bandwidth, frequency, and sweep.

Report of the ISO Laboratories: If the product is manufactured in the country, no specific in-country testing is required. The only requirement is that an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory provide a specific RF (Radio Frequency) report.

Frequency bands that used to be licensed but are no longer must be used: All devices must work on the specific unlicensed frequency bands, and all wireless devices must be able to work on the unlicensed frequency bands.
